Makin’ Baby

No, this was not a smut book. What started as a pregnancy announcement turned into a full 20 page countdown to our impending do—I mean birth. This was a very personal and emotional book to draw. Luckily, there’s a lot of comic relief sprinkled throughout, mostly because I look like a jackass 90% of the time (that hasn’t changed). Once I decided to keep drawing past the 1st strip, I got really inspired by old weekly comic strips like Johnny Hazard, Steve Canyon, and Terry and the Pirates.
